Partnering with local TV ideas?

We've teamed up with a local TV station for news and have some ideas for more partnerships with them. Anyone else have any cool things they've done in other markets that they care to share?

We actually did a live shot for 7 years with our NBC affiliate. The camera was in our studio and we went live for the "Mix 103-3 Trivia Challenge" where we had a trophy (the news anchors had an identical one) - they'd set us up on one side of the screen , and the anchors on the other. The team who had the trophy would ask the Trivia Question for the Day - if the other team got it correct, the trophy would be "passed" - an optical illusion, as we handed it to someone off camera and someone on their side handed it to them. They would then ask the next day's question - always topical & a fun bit for their morning news.
